Meditation Course

We are offering a 8 Week Proven Steps to Meditation Course.  Which will guide you through Three Basic Stages of learning meditation.

We have 2 course starting at two different times

  • Thursday, September 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Day Retreats

You will learn to calm the mind and experience levels of serenity for yourself.   The day includes lectures, meditative practice, lunch, and time for socializing.   We have an abundance of meditation chairs and pillows available to use.

Weekly

  • Beginners Sessions: 30 minutes before meditation, to provide instruction in these essential stages of meditation. Brief instructions are provided, then the group will practice in silence.

  • Open Meditation: The meditation hall will be open for Silent Group Meditation, for you to meditate for the length of time you prefer.

Spiritual Power of Sound

  Vibrational Medicine

  • Saturday, September 14 @ 3:00pm

A vibrational practice to stimulate the consciousness.   Where by you vocalize vowels attuned to live instruments.   Vocalization of vowels vibrates the primary energy centers of the body and consciousness.   Additionally, live instrumental music will engage and vibrate those centers, resulting in a more harmonized consciousness and body.

Without the magic of the word, without music, without the creative Verb, the universe would not exist: "In the beginning was the Word."

Meditation for Kids

We offer this in the summer months of June, July, and August.  Parents and kids of any age are welcome.  This will be a 30 minute intro to meditation built for kids.

Mature kids are always welcome to attend Sophia events with their parents or guardians
